Please read these rules before entering the Synergy Travel Package Prize Drawing (the “Prize Drawing”). By submitting an entry, you agree that you will be bound by these Official Rules, and you acknowledge that you satisfy all Prize Drawing eligibility requirements.

Eligibility. If you are 18 years or older, an individual legal resident of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia and a practicing tax and accounting professional, you are eligible to enter the Prize Drawing. The Prize Drawing is not open to employees or independent contractors, or immediate family members (spouses, domestic partners, parents, grandparents, siblings, children, and grandchildren) or those living in the same household of employees or independent contractors of Thomson Reuters (“Sponsor,” “we,” or “us”), Sponsor’s parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, advisors, or advertising/promotion agencies. You do not need to be a current Thomson Reuters customer to enter. Void where prohibited.

You are responsible for reviewing, understanding and abiding by your principal’s or employer’s policies regarding eligibility to participate in activities such as the Prize Drawing described in these Official Rules. If you are participating in violation of your principal’s or employer’s policies, you may be disqualified from registering for and/or participating in the Prize Drawing and being awarded/retaining prizes.

Prize Drawing Period. The Prize Drawing begins at 12:00:01 a.m. (CDT) on August 5, 2025, and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. (CDT) on August 31, 2025. For the purposes of this Prize Drawing, each day is understood to begin at 12:00:01 a.m. and end at 11:59:59 p.m.

How to Enter. Prize Drawing entries must be submitted using the electronic form found on this page. One entry per person.

Travel Package Prize Drawing. We will award a total of 2 prizes in this Prize Drawing. The Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) of each prize in this Prize Drawing: $2,599 (Synergy pass) $275 (Away suitcase). The total ARV of all prizes is $2,874.

Each winner will be responsible for paying all taxes, costs and expenses related to the prize that are not specifically mentioned, including, but not limited to, any other expenses that might reasonably be incurred by the winners in receiving or using the prize.

Prize Drawing. Potential winners will be selected for each prize on or about September 5, 2025, from among all eligible entries received during the Prize Drawing Period. We will notify each potential winner by phone or e-mail within ten (10) business days following the drawing. Potential winners will be required to provide a shipping address and may be required to sign an Eligibility Statement and Publicity Release. Any potential winner’s failure to meet eligibility requirements or to respond to the notification with a written acceptance and return the requested, completed document(s) within 72 hours of our sending such notification will result in prize forfeiture and we may select an alternative potential winner. The prizes will be awarded “AS IS” and WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, express or implied (including, without limitation, any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose). Limit one (1) prize per person for a total of 2 Prize Drawing winners.

Additional Terms. We may, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law and in our sole discretion, change these rules or cancel any Prize Drawing at any time; or modify, terminate, or suspend any Prize Drawing should viruses, worms, bugs, unauthorized human intervention or other causes beyond our control corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play of any Prize Drawing or submission of entries. We are not responsible for: (a) lost, misdirected, late, incomplete, or unintelligible entries or for inaccurate entry information, whether caused by you or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Prize Drawing, or by any technical or human error that may occur in the processing of entries; (b) any printing or typographical errors in any materials associated with the Prize Drawing; (c) any error in the operation or transmission, theft, destruction, unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries, or for technical, network, telephone, computer, hardware or software, malfunctions of any kind, or inaccurate transmission of, or failure to receive any entry information on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website; or (d) injury or damage to your or any other computer resulting from downloading any materials in connection with the Prize Drawing. We may, in our sole discretion, disqualify any individual found to be: (x) tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Prize Drawing or website; (y) acting in violation of these rules; or (z) acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. If your entry is incomplete or if you use robotic, automatic, programmed, or similar entry methods, your entry will be void. No greater than the number of prizes stated in these Official Rules will be awarded. If any technical errors occur in the selection of potential prize winners, we may award the prize(s) by random drawing from among all eligible claimants.

Miscellaneous. If you win a prize, you may not transfer, assign, or redeem the prize for cash. We may substitute a prize with a prize of equal or greater value. To the greatest extent permitted by law, each winner agrees (for himself or herself and his or her heirs) that, by accepting the prize, we, along with our affiliates and agents, will have no liability, and will be held harmless by the winners for any liability, loss, injury or damage to property or person, including death, and reasonable attorney’s fees and court costs, due in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, by reason of the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of the prize or participation in the Prize Drawing, even if caused or contributed to by our negligence. You agree that our decisions related to the Prize Drawing and all drawings are final. Each winner agrees that, by participating in the Prize Drawing, we may use the winner’s name, image or likeness in any manner and in any medium for our promotional purposes without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law. Each winner agrees to sign a publicity release where required.

Any and all disputes arising out of the Prize Drawing shall be brought within one year of the end of the Prize Drawing Period, notwithstanding any contrary statute of limitations. The laws of the state of Minnesota govern this sweepstakes and any dispute regarding the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of the entrant and Sponsor in connection with the sweepstakes shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, only in a state or federal court located in Minneapolis, MN.
