Shaun is an author and executive editor for Checkpoint and has been with Thomson Reuters for over five years. His articles can be found in PPC’s Practitioners Tax Action Bulletins and Quickfinder’s Tax Tips Newsletter.

Prior to joining Thomson Reuters, Shaun spent over ten years with national accounting firms. Early in his career, Shaun led research and development tax incentive studies for Fortune 500 companies. Following this, he specialized in tax due diligence, corporate restructurings, and international tax compliance and planning. Shaun also has extensive experience in advising small businesses and closely held companies on a variety of tax matters.

Shaun received a J.D. from Texas Tech University School of Law and an LL.M. in Taxation from New York University School of Law. In 2018, he was named a “tax expert to watch” by Accounting Today.
John Wandrisco

John Wandrisco leads the Tax & Accounting firm operations at Verady and has 20+ years of experience in Tax Technology. In this role, his focus is to help individuals, businesses and professionals with the tools and technology to integrate crypto into their tax and accounting processes. Prior to joining Verady, John held several product, technical and business leadership roles at Thomson Reuters.

John has a BBA in Accounting from the University of Texas, San Antonio. He lives in Flower Mound, TX with his wife and two kids, enjoys spending time with his family, various outdoor activities and traveling in his free time.
