Stephanie D. Lanke, CPA 

Stephanie D. Lanke, CPA is a senior consultant for Thomson Reuters. She specializes in providing training on current and upcoming accounting and auditing standards, audit efficiencies, and various level training to professional firms.Stephanie spent the first 10 years of her career in public accounting where she worked for several local, regional, and national public accounting firms. She later joined a large tax and accounting software company where she served for seven years as a senior audit consultant, and three years as the Customer Experience Manager for the company’s audit product suite. Most recently, Stephanie spent the last six years as the Associate Vice President for Finance and Controller at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology where she was responsible for financial reporting, tax, budget, risk management, sponsored programs, and student financial services.

Stephanie graduated from Indiana State University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting, and a minor in management information systems. She is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in Indiana, and a Certified Fraud Examiner. She is also a member of the AICPA, Indiana CPA Society, Association for Certified Fraud Examiners, and currently serves as the President of the Indiana Association for College and University Business Officers.

Alison Parker, CPA

Alison Parker, CPA, is a senior technical editor of PPC products for the Tax & Accounting business of Thomson Reuters. She is a contributing author of PPC’s Guide to PCAOB Audits, PPC’s Guide to Audits of Nonpublic Companies, PPC’s Practice Aids for Audits of 403(b) Plans, and PPC’s Practice Aids for Audits of Form 11-K Benefit Plans, as well as a coauthor of PPC’s Practice Aids for Audits Performed under International Standards and The PPC Accounting and Auditing Update newsletter. Prior to joining Thomson Reuters, she was a senior audit manager for Whitley Penn LLP. Ms. Parker has also worked as an accounting manager in the pharmaceutical industry and as an audit manager for KPMG LLP. Her extensive experience includes providing a wide range of accounting, auditing, and consulting services to public, private, and nonprofit clients.
