Steve Lindsey

Steve Lindsey, Director – Product Management, leads the design and development efforts of Thomson Reuters’ online and desktop audit and assurance products. He has worked for Thomson Reuters for over 30 years, first as an editor and author of audit and accounting guidance and later leading the development of Thomson Reuters’ audit software product line, including Checkpoint Tools, SMART Practice Aids, and Checkpoint Engage.

Steve is a CPA and has been active in the accounting profession for over 40 years. He began his career in public practice working with KPMG and a small, local firm in Fort Worth, Texas. The hands-on experience gained providing audit, accounting, and tax services to clients ranging from small businesses to multinational companies gives him a unique understanding of the challenges faced by CPAs and their clients today.

Scott Spradling

Scott Spradling, Executive Director - Audit Innovation with Thomson Reuters His professional passion is working with our teams to help audit firms apply progressive technologies in ways that are practical and allow auditors to do work that is faster, better, and more fun.  Prior to joining Thomson Reuters, Scott was an auditor with KPMG.  He has over 30 years of experience in the profession and has also worked as a strategic consultant to audit technology providers. 

Bill D. Carrera

Bill D. Carrera, CPA is a Sales Coach for Thomson Reuters.  He has over 8 years of experience providing onsite and web-based software training and consulting to firms implementing a variety of software. Prior to joining Thomson Reuters, Bill spent 17 years in public accounting, primarily providing attest services to a wide variety of clients in various industries. Bill has a bachelor’s degree in accounting and is a Certified Public Accountant, licensed in Texas since 2002.
